Gentles, I am running Linux again -- Ubuntu this time. The price was right (free).
Now I just need to figure out how to confiugre things like my onboard sound, my display, and my USB injket. I also have a bunch of PDF and other files on my other drive that, if they were not erased, I would like to move so I can use again. I suspect I need to get a tech in here to sort it out, but don't have a lot of cash.
