I have a copy of "Astronomy Hacks" that the user group coordinator left me with to give to the group, and a big pile of 30% discount off O'Reilly books bookmarks.  Think about what books you want to read that I can put on the list to send to O'Reilly.  So far as I know everything O'Reilly gives us has become the personal property of someone in the group.  I'm not sure if this is the best way to do it, but as far as I know the club doesn't have a formal legal structure that makes it possible to say the club owns a book for it's library.  I think the rule is whoever can convince the rest of the group that they want, or need, or deserve a book most gets it.
