Position Description; Systems management software company is seeking a senior software Java development engineer in its Beaverton Oregon Office;

 

  • The Java development engineers will join an existing team dedicated to the ongoing development of systems management applications and specialized tools for developing those applications.
  • Develop systems management applications.
  • Develop systems management services (e.g.; discovery, asset management, provisioning, configuration, control, etc.)
  • Develop foundational technologies to support systems management applications and services: asset repository, event management capabilities, policy engines, etc.

 

Qualifications;

 

·         7+ years  experience as a SW developer responsible for  architecture, design, and development of enterprise applications development for Unix, and Linux environments

·         5+ years of development experience using Java.

·         Experience XML, Apache,Tomcat,SQL technologies

·         4+ years C, C++

·         3+ years Eclipse, JUnit, OOP/OOD, defect tracking, along with Linux automation.

·         UNIX Shell scripting, Perl, or other scripting support in TCL/TK or Python etc.

·         A working knowledge of systems management protocols and technologies, SNMP, IPMI, WBEM, CIM etc. a plus.

·         A working Knowledge of one or more of the following Linux (Fedora, Monta Vista, Wind River), VM Ware, Blue Cat

·         Strong work ethic.

·         BS in computer Science, MS preferred.
