There's a supercomputer conference in Seattle,
Washington State, this week. It's not cheap - the door
costs more than twice what I've been paid in some
computer jobs and the conferences cost almost half of
what I can get paid in a week. On the other hand, with
Linux ruling the roost in high performance computing,
it would be great to poke fun at Cray corp for saying
nobody would ever use clusters of PCs running Linux
for anything serious.
