Someone just sent me this link for setting up extra stuff in ubuntu like mp3 playback. I know how to do all of this from using debian for years, but trying to tech support someone through the process would be difficult. This looks like something I could tell someone else how to do, and may make it one of the few linux installs for the non technical that I think is likely to make them happy.
