Win or Lin?
Very easy to do with Winamp... I believe you can also do it the exact
same way in XMMS (if you don't want to figure out mplayer's command line...)
Also a way to deal with encrypted WMA... if necessary.

No, still working on it. But I haven't tried much since last night. I
have to be gone most of the day, but later today I'm going to get on it
in earnest. I have a meeting with other students Sunday afternoon where
we plan to transcribe the sounds, so I'm hoping to have them playing in
Audacity by then. The weird thing is why some things appear to convert
the files, but the output plays only static.
