So, my girlfriends laptop battery seems to die a little bit quicker with the wireless card in it. Is this to be expected (it takes up more resources i assume)
So, what about when I power the laptop down. Would the card still being in the slot drain the battery still? I turned it off last night and went to turn it on this morning and the battery was dead. When I turned it off it was still at about 30% life left, so I am wondering if perhaps the wireless card still drains power when powered down or perhaps it didn't shutdown all the way and died at some point. (i don't recall if it had shutdown fully) Anyone had any issues with this sort of thing? I am going to test it again tonight and see if it was coincidental or not. -Robby -- /*************************************** * Robby Russell | Owner.Developer.Geek * PLANET ARGON | www.planetargon.com * Portland, OR | [EMAIL PROTECTED] * 503.351.4730 | blog.planetargon.com * PHP/PostgreSQL Hosting & Development * --- Now supporting PHP5 --- ****************************************/
