Greets again, all!
I've found a couple of wireless cards and can't decide which one to get, so time to ask the experts. I've found these two options:
Option 1 ORiNOCO Classic Gold PC Card/7.0 dBi OMNI Antenna Kit http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=45000&item=5738500539&rd=1 Hermes chipset 50Mw ~$60
Option 2 Senao Long Range 200mW 802.11b PC Card/7.0dBi Antenna http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=45000&item=5738225121&rd=1 Prism2.5 chipset 200Mw ~$70
My goals are compatible with Linux and Windoze, ease of use, stability, will be FULLY functional under Kismet, Aircrack, Weplab, etc...
I really like how easy the Hermes chipset cards are to install/manage under Linux. But the extra power of the Senao sounds nice, but is it worth it to loose the convenience and compatibility of the Orinoco?
Any thoughts greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tobias
...and happy holidays!
