Just FYI, I got the Senao, installed it and have some feedback.

I received the package 2 days after I ordered it and all was as it
claimed to be. I was worried that it might have the new Prism3 chipset
(not good), but it really had the Prism2.5 as stated on the site where I
purchased it. I tried the Prism2.5 kernel(2.6.9) driver with no luck. I
then tried the linux-wlan-ng drivers which had worked well for me in the
past. Terrible! Kismet seg-faulted most of the time and the card was
flakey at best. I then tried the latest hostap drivers, which worked
very well. Airsnort, Kismet, etc... all seem to work great with this
card. I fired up Kismet on the way to work this morning and put the
antenna on the roof; yielded 571 AP's, half w/o encryption!
So if you're looking for a new card I'd suggest getting one of these.
And the ebay store[0] where I bought it from was excelent.
The only drawbacks this card has is that it is only 802.11b. It also
doesn't have it's own antenna so you may want to spend the 6 bucks for
the little nubby one. If anyone has any questions feel free to email me
off list.

| | Regarding the high-power cards, bear in mind that they have transmit
| | power but they don't have extra reception sensitivity, so unless the
| | radio you are talking to has high power (or antenna-enhanced power

| Thanks to everybody for their suggestions. I wound up getting the Senao
| because the drivers are in the 2.6 kernel, most of the tools I'll be
| using have support for the Prism2.5 chipset, and this card has the best
| sensitivity of the all the fore mentioned cards.

| I found a few links about the card if any else is interested:

| Thanks again!
