So, what is left to do before we can go live with the development website?
There are problems with the feeder script I believe. (or was this since fixed).
I did fix one tiny bug. I think we wanted to make it a little more sophisticated: only insert new entries, perhaps by hashing the contents. The poll-interval can probably be lengthened to 30-60 minutes. Besides this, I think it works okay (at least for me).
One thing was the login. It seems to take a while to login... but I haven't tested it out of dev mode. I'll try to spend some time in the next day testing this out.
I noticed this too. On my local testing setup, I don't have this issue. I am running it under Apache 2.0.54 with FastCGI, and Postgres 7.4.7 running on localhost. Also: Rails 0.13.1 and Ruby 1.8.2.
