Okay, turns out something's wrong with the feeder script. If it's invoked from the site directory as script/feeder, it runs. If it's invoked from anywhere else it freaks out because it can't find r_e. That's why it hasn't been running. Turns out that whoever put in the require 'r_e' included the lib path... that is, it read: require 'lib/r_e' That makes the entire application fragile. lib is in the include path anyway so it's not necessary to specify it when requiring from any of the rails config files. Fixed that, I'll check it in momentarily, update and restart the site. Should get feeder running again.
