Karl-Heinz

Sorry you are having trouble. I tested PEBL 0.13 on xp before I released
it, and I have used it occasionally, so it should work. I'm not sure why
it is not working for you. Please see if there are any copies of
stdout.txt or stderr.txt in either My Documents\pebl-exp.0.13, or
c:\Program Files\pebl\bin, which might help me track down the problem.

If I had to guess, I would suspect that (assuming you are using a
german-localized XP setup) the named locations are a bit different than
what PEBL is expecting, and one of these is causing the problem. (e.g,
either My Documents, Program Files, etc., is in German). I think newer
versions of windows made this easier to deal with, but there still may be
problem here on XP. Email me off-list, letting me know what the actual
named locations of your pebl\ folder and your documents\ folder are, and
sending me any stdout.txt/stderr.txt files you can find, and I'll see if I
can figure out if this is the trouble, and try to fix it for future
releases.

Best,
Shane
