Steve Sorry for the late reply...I use class rules all of the time. You must set up NET CLASS rules not component class rules. Component class rules can be used for advanced placement. The 99SE router may have some problems if the board is sizable however, routers like ELECTRA and SPECCTRA will handle all of your class rules except matched length rules. The rules are flattenned out since the DSN files will not export the classes. This has been fixed in DXP04
