but i don't think this explains the change in size (length) from one
machine to another
the difference is significant
more than .2" sometimes

it seems as if the port is adapting to the port name length based on font which is being drawing differently on different machines

not sure that makes sense or is correct, but it is a bit disturbing

This is important to have it enabled if the design has to go back to Orcad.
I keep it unchecked (disabled) - I prefer to be able to adjust the length
of the port according to my preferences.
