I have, except, they usually turn out to be ARCs with 0 radius, which may have been accidentally generated by cycling the trace type using the shift space.

Subject: Re: [PEDA] phantom ratsnest 99SE

didja ever see a phantom ratsnest in 99SE ?

i do from time to time

they go to a point in 'air' with nothing at the end which can be deleted

they don't seem to really matter but it bugs me
i tried saving as ascii and many other things to no avail

now i found a method to kill them

do a place track (copper)
start it at the end of the phantom point (it should snap to it with E-snap on)
route to a valid point
isolate that segment or segements if they go all over the place

then select connected copper and hit ctrl delete
