I'm not sure how this can be, as the package I expect they were
showing would have been Nexar, and Nexar has all the same Schematic
tools, and even has some of the PCB tools as well. Not that really
helps with you not being able to talk to them about there PCB tools.

To be honest, I don't see trade shows are any better then what
can be said electronically, email lists, emails etc 

Normally the ppl at trade shows are just sales ppl anyway.
