My Super Compact Library, it's component, footprints & it's associated
script tools are very complete. The only thing is that my footprints were
designed to work with a "Design component clearance constraint" of 0mil.
All the outer edges of the footprints have a silk screen border which are
designed to sit on the silkscreen border of the adjacent component. Though
you may use a standard clearance constraint, using 0 allows for every thing
to sit on a whole # grid whether in metric, or imperial & there is adequate
safe distance for any high speed chip-shooter assembly equipment & no
problems even if you have smd stuff glued to the bottom of the PCB which may
be going through a wave solder.

Note that virtually all the footprints in my library have been used in at
least 1 design, however, when it comes to odd mechanical components, like
SMD Relay, of LEDs, I would recommend verifying the footprint. The main
major SMD footprints, eg:0603/0805/1206/1210/Caps SizeA,SizeB...,SOT23,SO8,
& metric have all been used in great number in my designs without problem.

Brad,
Don't hold me to this but I believe you want to look in the Misc.lib. I
can't say absolutely for sure but that is where I recall they are located. I
don't even load the Protel libraries onto my install any longer so I am
going strictly from memory.
Sincerely,

Subject: [PEDA] Looking for Protel 99 SE libraries.
Hi,
I am looking for a standard library (.sch and .pcb) for surface mount
footprints for resistors and capacitors (i.e. 1206, 0805, 0603 packages)?
Is there one for Protel 99 SE?
Thanks,
Brad.
