Greetings having read some of the messages on dealing with BGA's and protel99se I've a few questions. 1) is there a repository for protel pad layouts laying about? 2) ditto for schemative devices. 3) is it possible to hand route the BGA routes to specific layers using blind and buried vias then lock the routes and let protels autorouter finish the connections to the rest of the board? It seems blind and buried vias are a problem with it.
What sort of other gotcha's would using a BGA part create? I might have to use the 48pin memory packages, and I'm wondering what horrors I might have to navigate around. Stephen R.
