tastingfan,
First of all, since your question is about DXP rather than P99SE, your
question would be better asked on the Altium DXP forum. we're mostly a bunch of
P99SE hold-outs on this forum with minimal experience with DXP.

However to answer your question generically, it sounds like the
footprint specified for R3 was not found in the libraries. Therefore it could
not make your net connections to two pins of the device, nor add it to the
class. There is most likely another error message that you didn't see or
mention that tells you the footprint was not found.

This type of error will let you move forward but be quite assured that
there is something missing within your PCB design. Most likely the connections
to R3 and possibly the footprint for R3 itself.

Subject: [PEDA] some errors when updating

Hi,

When I execute Design->Update PCB Document *.pcbdoc in Protel 2004, some errors
occur

Unknown Pin: Pin R3-1

Unknown Pin: Pin R3-2

Failed to add class member: Component R3 Res2

but still I get the work done, why?

Best Regards

Tasting_fan
