Yup. AV software is by its very nature problematic to free and unfettered use of one's computer. When I read that first blurb bout AVG, for a brief moment I thought, "Ooh, I'm about to be impressed", but now that I just read Gerhard's post I am back feeling like, "Oh, there's another chump bit of software...They choke the system at least as effectively as Norton and McAfee, if not even worse..."
