I used Protel for several years but have now been away from it for two or three years and my skills, never the best, are rusty. I've managed to work out quite a few things, but I've finally come to something I'm stuck on and I was hoping you could help me out.
I have been using an existing DDB to come back up to speed. Yesterday I created a component in the existing sweep_main schematic library and placed the component. Today I copied the entire DDB to a different location because I'm getting ready to convert it into the new design. I created another component in the sweep_main schematic library but when I went back to the design schematic, the component does not show up in the component listing in Browse Sch, even though I have the sweep_main library selected. I think that by copying the entire DDB, I've probably got pointers some- how mixed up, and I'm adding the component to the old library from yesterday that's in another directory, but the Browse Sch is looking in the present directory, or vice versa.
