Dennis,
Maybe you should ask some of the designers on any PADs forum(s), there
is a Protel - PADs conversion/translator tool that PADs supplies. Haven't used
it myself and I would never blindly take the company's word on it's
suitability/performance but rather check it out with other designers that may
have used it. If it is as good as Protel now has their PADs - Protel converter
then you are laughing.

Subject: Re: [PEDA] Protel > Pads

Hi all

this is sort of the reverse of the usual question

i have potential job to develop a widget

it will go through several spins, proto, pilot run, iterations w/ molded
packaging, and then when done and stable there will be a hand off to the
final customer for offshore production

at that stage they want the design in PADs for maintenance and revs,
they don't care about the preliminary stages

so the questions is:
is there a reasonable shot a converting from 99SE to the current PADs
program?

will there be a lot of clean up ?

a day or so is probably reasonable

don't really want to go to RSI unless abs. nec.
