All, I found a copy of Excel 2003 on another PC. I assume this is version 12. The same problems exists with Excel 2003. The data fields do not show all of the designators when the character length exceeds 1k. The display is corrected in the formula bar. Our only option is use a script to fix the csv file Mike Reagan EDSI
