This is just a note to remind readers that there is a Protel user's wiki at
http://protel-users.org

Any of us can register there for free and thus become able to quickly
and easily add or edit information on the site. It would also be
possible to build an archive there, where it would be safe from the
vagaries of other providers (and even from my own technical
difficulties, since the wiki could be itself archived elsewhere),
but, at the least, the existing archive(s) should be referenced.

There could be a mail-in facility that would allow the quick and easy
addition of content to the site by simply sending it to a specific
mail address; this has been useful on another wiki I manage to enable
users to add content coming from mailing lists without having to go
through a more formal process of logging in, etc. To see how it would
work, look at
http://myob-users.org/tiki-index.php?page=How+to+Mail+in+MYOB+Wiki+Content

To add the facility will require administrative privileges. It would
be useful if we had one or more volunteers to take on admin
privileges, I can't always take care of these things. I would grant
admin privileges to users known to me to have been supporters of the
Protel Users community. (Note that the right to simply add or delete
content in the wiki does not require admin privileges, but it does
require registration, which is automatic upon confirmation of the
applying e-mail address.)

For information, I do own the domain protel-users.org and hold it in
trust for the Protel Users Association; and the domain is hosted by
lomaxdesign.com. Again, admin privileges for protel-users.org could
and probably should be shared.

Volunteers? Just to set up a procedure, I would vet any volunteers
through the Protel Users Association mailing list at
[EMAIL PROTECTED], instead of simply relying
on my own opinion, which is necessarily limited and biased.
