Bill It certainly is possible (there would be another outcry if it weren't I'm sure) :)
Open the netlist and use the project comparision tools to transfer over. Eg. Project/Show differences/Advanced mode. Select the netlist from the free documents in the left window and the pcb on the right then hit okay. You will then find the ECO dialog where you can check the differences and select what is going to change etc. Works very well. (useful as you can compare any document against another not just netlists) Regards Rich -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Brooks,Bill Sent: 28 March 2006 19:14 To: '[email protected]' Subject: [PEDA] FW: Next meeting of the San Diego Chapter APRIL 26 2006 I have not deeply investigated this issue... can someone enlighten me as to the usability of the Altium Designer product in a service bureau environment? What I mean is the designer wants to be able to import a netlist into the board design environment without making a schematic in Protel... Can the new product do that? If so, how?
