It certainly is possible (there would be another outcry if it weren't I'm
sure) :) 

Open the netlist and use the project comparision tools to transfer over.
Eg.

Project/Show differences/Advanced mode.  Select the netlist from the free
documents in the left window and the pcb on the right then hit okay.  You
will then find the ECO dialog where you can check the differences and select
what is going to change etc. Works very well.  (useful as you can compare
any document against another not just netlists)

I have not deeply investigated this issue... can someone enlighten me as to
the usability of the Altium Designer product in a service bureau
environment?  What I mean is the designer wants to be able to import a
netlist into the board design environment without making a schematic in
Protel... Can the new product do that? If so, how?
