Hi Laurie It sounds like you have hidden net problems. Did you do anything with your libraries when you changed OS? GND may have dissapeared becouse you have a hidden pin connected to Vss or something.
Try compiling the project (not just the schematic) and see what errors come up. This may lead you to the cause.
