Michael,
As Andrew pointed out, only you can remove yourself from the list
server. Each and every post has the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the
message. If that is what you have tried already and it didn't work, then a
message to the forum administrator would be in order. The administrators email
address is;
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
As for not receiving your own posts to the list server, there is an
option in the user configuration that sets whether or not you receive a copy of
your own posts to the list server.
Sincerely,
Brad Velander

Subject: Re: [PEDA] Desktop EDA - Protel Add-ons
Actually, I've tried to do that several times. The last half-dozen times I've
tried to post to this list, my posts were completely ignored. Before that, I
got a great deal of flak for posting the comment that if I had to do it over
again, then I wouldn't buy Protel. So the list has been largely useless to me.
I see no reason to subscribe to snarky posts and pedantic answers. I would
like to be removed from this list, but that doesn't seem to be an option--so
I've just been ignoring the post. However, I feel unsolicited commericial
e-mails are beyond the pale, so I found it necessary to reply. In my defense,
I thought that the reply would be private. I was rather surprised to find that
my post made it to the list (although I don't see it, only your reply) as
nothing I've sent in quite a while has made it.
If it is in your power to remove me, then by all means do so. I'm rather tired
of the plethora of correspondence in my mailbox to which I can't reply.
