Well, its either a feature or a bug... Never sure with 99SE but it does make
a kind of sense. It goes along with features like "print applicable
documents" etc. where scope rules come into play. I have noticed it and been
either irritated or pleased depending on what I've been doing.

All the Best

Subject: [PEDA] Finding Text in a Schematic.

Hi.

In Protel99SE schematic, when searching for components using the Find Text
command there is an option for the sheet scope for current document or all
documents. It appears that the all documents only works if you have files
that are hierarchal (i.e. One of the sheets in the hierarchy must be active
when you execute the search otherwise it will not find it).

For example a schematic is 25 sheets with 8 that are hiarchial. If I search
for an item on one of the 8 hierarchal sheets I have to have one of the 8
sheets active and it will search only the 8 sheets and find it. If I have a
sheet active that is not one of the 8 then it will only search the one
active sheet.

Is this expected behavior?

Thanks,

Brad.
