Hello all, I was wondering if anybody could help me with this problem. For every component I use in the schematic I have created a new parameter that contains a part # that is internal to our company, I wonder if there is a way of transferring that parameter to the pcb when I update the pcb document so that when I generate the pick and place file using a new output job file, I could select the corresponding column containing the internal part#. I have tried the following with little success: every part # (in pcb) has a schematic reference information that I though I could use to transfer our int. part#, (using the description field), however, for some reason not all the description fields from schematic component properties gets transferred over to the respective pcb part. Don't know if this is a bug with dxp or I am not using it properly.
