I would like to add that if. in* initiating *a thread or in making a non-threaded comment, you need only modify the 'iupui' address to 'iu' (so the defunct peirce-l@list.*iupui*.edu address becomes peirce-l@list*.iu*.edu by simply deleting the letters '*pui*' from the defunct address (something that I discovered I had to do to get my initial post in the "Intersubjective Reality" thread delivered to the List). In Gmail (perhaps other email programs as well) *both* addresses will appear when you next type 'Peirce-L' into the address bar, say, to initiate a thread. You then simply select the correct address of the two. (You may want to delete the old 'iupui' address so that you don't accidently try to send your new post to the List; if that happens you will get an email saying that your post was not deliverable). *In a nutshell:* To initiate a thread or to make a non-threaded comment, type in Peirce-L, select it in your email program, then delete the letters 'pui' from the address. You only have to do this once. To respond to a comment already *recently* posted you need only 'reply' or 'reply all'.
