List, I just listened to this excellent interview centered on a new book by Diane Heney. I wrote in the Peirce Society FB blog:
In the first half of the interview Heney offers in my opinion a quite excellent short introduction to American Pragmatism, emphasizing Peirce and his influence on James, Dewey, C.I. Lewis, Royce and others (I think he has more to say about ethics before the turn of the century than she seems to give him credit for; meanwhile his pragmatic methodology seems to be useful to most all the philosophers she mentions). In the 2nd part of the interview she demonstrates the classical American pragmatists' influence on contemporary metaethics. Talisse is a fine interviewer, while Heney has spurred my interest in metapethics. Best.
