Helmut, List:

HR: Did Peirce write, that for him, God is real but does not exist?

Yes. Peirce writes that God is *real *but does not *exist*.

HR: In this case, does "real, but not existing" mean, that the reality
exists independently of instantiation, and is not instantiated?

Not exactly. Peirce writes that whatever is *real *is as it is regardless
of what anyone thinks about it, while whatever *exists *reacts with other
like things in the environment.

HR: Does "person" mean, one can talk with this person in a way, that this
person hears and reacts, i.e. is influenced by the partner of the talk,
i.e. a person does not exist independently of instantiation, but exists, is
instantiated, and is not "real, but not existing"?

Not exactly. Peirce writes that God being *personal *entails that we have a
direct perception of God and are in personal communication with God.
