Register to get a Zoom link: https://www.logicandreligion.com/webinars Abstract: Through the history of the concept of pneuma, I will show how the two main functions of the spirit is, on the one hand, to organize a multiplicity and reduce it into a totality, and, on the other hand, to subject every singular to a community by dwelling in them. The concept of pneuma, therefore, is key to understand a paradigm of totalitarianism, that thinks in terms of totality and that functionalizes singularities. The critical history of this concept has a special importance for Christian Theology and its political implications. Join us 5 minutes prior to the beginning of the session! With best wishes, -- Francisco de Assis Mariano, The University of Missouri-Columbia (USA) LARA Secretary l...@logicandreligion.com<mailto:l...@logicandreligion.com>
