Richard, From what I've seen over the past couple of years, the political propagandists and private profiteers who are pushing the Regressive Education Movement across the United States, not to mention doing all they can to destroy the very ideals of universal free public education on which our democracy so critically depends, do not have the least interest in the facts about Dewey's philosophy or practice of Progressive Education. It will take decades to rebuild what has already been destroyed -- and that is even if the tide of viral corruption can be turned back.
