I hope this isn't too basic a question, but ...
What would be a Progressive Economist's critique of the Federal Reserve
System? In particular, what are the consequences, if any, of the
autonomy of the Fed from the Federal Government, and the private
ownership of the Federal Reserve Banks which accrue to the benefit of
private capital and the detriment of the majority?
