Cost: $12 per person (includes lunch, etc.)
The morning topic will be corporate reform and workers' control as
strategies for labor in North America. The United Steel Workers has become a
major owner in the steel industry. Don Goldstein will give a short
presentation on stake-holder corporate governance as a left/labor strategy, and
Curtis Haynes will report on his recent trip to Mondragon in Spain. The
afternoon topic has yet to be determined. Suggestions are welcome.
There will be a dinner afterwards, a few blocks off campus.
Please inform me if you plan to attend (and send $) as soon as possible so
that I hqave an accurate count for our campus food service. Make checks
