I have just subscribed to PEN-L.

I am not sure why Protest Yahoo is being discussed on a list that is supposed to be 
devoted to
political economy.

Having said that, I would like to endorse the views expressed by Nathan Newman. If 
this particular
attempt to censor the internet continues I hope that people on the left get out there 
and make
their opposition known.
