This is very late, but it struck me that in Jim's (as in Devine) note he never mentioned Hahnel and Albert's "The Quiet Revolution in Welfare Economics" which is more or less completely devote to modeling the implications of endogenous preference formation in modified NC Welfare econ terms - I found it an excellent book on the topic which also reviews much of the radical PE literature on various and related topics.
