I think I'll try to go to this year's conference (I hope to see you there NOT), BUT ... I have found past SSC conferences to be ... BORING. Checking-out the literature tables and saying hello to old friends and comrades has been for me the highlight ... the rest is a genuine cure for insomnia. But, I feel the same way about most academic conferences. Jerry
