Vancouver Sun, March 7, 1996:

It wasn't lost on government watchers that the Harris government repealed or
amended all kinds of NDP labor laws but did not remove the OPSEU's right to
strike.
"They must have wanted it there, not because they have any great sympathy
for unions, but because they were looking for a strike," White [U of Toronto
Poli Sci Prof] said.
