Now there's a name I hadn't come across in ages! I have a fascination
with people like "Dr Pancake," who came to Marxism from hard science.
(Alas, the terms of his persuasion were rather expensive: WW1 broke out,
from which event he concluded that the analysis of then-current events
by the Dutch CP must have been on the beam.)
Does anyone know of some biographical material on Pannekoek? I don't
think his life has been formally done.
