Dear PEN-Lers: Before the ASSA conference becomes a distant memory, I would like to thank Ron Baiman for the wonderful URPE reception held at Roosevelt University. The URPE gathering was certainly the "classiest" reception that I attended during the meetings, replete with good food, interesting conversation, a DJ, and even some live music by a jazz pianist named Miles Tate.
