Resurgent City Research Group (RESURGE)

The Resurgent City Center for Cooperative Community Development (RCC), funded
by a Department of Housing and Urban Development "Community Outreach
Partnership Center" grant and located on the Buffalo State College campus,
seeks a self-motivated, organized individual as Executive Director.  The
Executive Director has primary responsibility to oversee and coordinate the
various functions of the RCC office and staff, and maintain external
communication with community contacts and internal communication with the RCC
Board of Dircetors (RESURGE).  The Executive Director reports to the RCC Board
of Directors.  The grant project is currently funded for three years, and the
employment opportunity is created through Research Foundation of the State
University of New York.

Candidates must possess a Master's degree or equivalent--significant (3-5
years) community development experience may substitute for the Master's degree. 
Organizational development and administrative experience, written and oral
communication, and basice computer literacy are also required.  Candidates must
have experience with community organizing and development.  Grant writing
experience is a plus.

Salary:  Competitive
