The "Is it right?" thread ended inconclusively, and I'm not sure where
and how it began. Which part of the American right was originally meant:
folks who are welcome at a Gingrich fund-raiser in suburban Atlanta,
or the rustic cousins they haven't visited in ages and whose politics
are, well, indecorous?
If you check out the less academic districts of the Net you'll find much
consternation over the government that was supposed to "look like America"
but instead looks a good deal more like Beverly Hills. In other words,
for some, maybe a whole lot, the Clinton White House is a categorical
scandal; the deathless Elders of Zion are goal-to-go on the 2-yard line,
have in fact pretty much wrapped up the game.
Statements like this below, sometimes less subdued and more speculative,
are easily come by in some cyber-neighborhoods.
I have nothing to say about the line-up myself; obviously it's a totally
random event. Everyone knows that American Jewry is not represented
disproportionately in finance capitalism.
