Hi. I'm considering enrolling in a doctoral program in econ in one of the heterodox departments. I was wondering if anyone has any advice about heterodox departments as well as the idea of a doctorate in econ, as opposed to to sociology or pol.sc. given the state of the discipline and future job prospects (for non neo-classicals).
