Sigh. You still don't get it. I tried to explain that you can't compare
countries as if they were rival fish bowls. South Korea, as Marty
Hart-Landsburg points out, was the beneficiary of Western imperialist
largesse. Soviet Russia was subjected to 70 years of war, blockade and
subversion. I suppose the only analogy with a fish bowl is if you imagine
somebody urinating into one. Naturally the fish will die. That is what
happened to the Soviet Union.
