One of the other things that is worth mentioning here is that I am now beginning to understand Jim Craven's occasional testiness on PEN-L. I imagine myself knocking the teeth down the throat of two completely isolated nuts on a newsgroup and brood about their lies all the time. What would it be like if post-WWII Jews never emigrated Europe and a "cleaned up" version of the Nazis were still in power? And large numbers of my countrymen were unemployed, alcoholic, addicted or in despair, while living in ghettos. And while this was going on, the soccer teams across Europe were called something like the Hamburg Jewboys or the Paris Hebrews. And the picture of the mascots were caricatures with big noses and fleshy lips. And what if most of the "Marxist" left's main worry was how long it would take these wretches to become part of the working-class mainstream and give up their cultural identity? I would want to kill somebody. Louis Proyect (http://www.panix.com/~lnp3/marxism.html)
