Unfortunately, Louis, this is in no way exclusive to those "imbued with the postmodernist zeitgeist." It's pretty common among grad students, and academics generally. And not just academics, either, come to think of it. Also, it really isn't fair to assume that those who find a value in postmodernism are less genuine in their commitment to anti-racist and anti-sexist struggles. Some folks who find value in postmodernism are very committed, in practice, to these and other struggles. You're doing some pretty heavy lumping and dismissing.
