Jim, Recently in Sacramento, David Marshall of the CPUSA spoke about the Russian crisis and the responses of the Communist parties. In a nutshell, despite the awful suffering of the population at the hands of we know who (ex-nomenklatura and U.S. capital), he was encouraged during his recent visit by the grassroots efforts underway to make the political system work for the Russian people.
