I've been using that double entendre for years on pen-l and you're the
first one to note it. Being very un-ghetto myself, I think that it reflects
something more general, perhaps plumbing the abstract depths of the human
condition, revealing the true and essential nature of the MF himself,
transcending mere description ....
(I'm not totally un-ghetto, though, since most of my neighbors are (quite
middle-class) black folks.)
